Sherri Jaillet-Martinez

I am the Owner/Operator of Brookview Montessori Child Development Center.  I entered into the childcare field after taking Business and Marketing courses at NAIT and completing 3 years of her Elementary Education Program at the University of Alberta.  I have nearly 20 years of childcare experience from Program Coordination, Leadership and training in the aquatic field, as well as operation of recreational facilities.  I continue to upgrade my skills through workshops and courses.  I am an active volunteer in the community and sit on various committees.  You will see me under the various administrative duties but I often enjoy taking a break and playing with the children.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.

Amy Nicholas

I am the Director of Brookview Montessori Child Development Center.  I completed my Early Childhood Development Diploma in Camrose, Alberta.  I entered into the childcare field after my son was born and have worked with children of all ages in that time.  I joined the Brookview Team in 2006.  You will sometimes see me in the office doing various administrative duties but most often you will find me in the rooms playing with the children.  I continue to upgrade my skills through workshops and courses.   I hope to begin taking my Speech Language Pathologist assistant program this fall so that our program will be able to offer even more rescourses for your children.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.

Clara Villegas

Clara is our Assistant Director as well as one of our Toddler Room teacher.  Clara is from Colombia, South America.  Clara has her Early Childhood Education Diploma.  Clara joined our team in 2006. She loves working with the Toddlers as they are so full of love. 

Pamela Fider

Pamela is a Teacher in our Toddler Room.  She came from the Philippines to join our team in 2009.  Pamela graduated with a Bachelor of Elementary Education as well as completed a Care giving course. 

Margorie Costales

Margorie is our Transition Room teacher.  She is from the Philippines and has a Bachelor of Elementary Education.  Margorie has 7 years experience teaching school age children and 3 years experience teaching in childcare in the USA.  Margorie joined our team in 2008.

Eva Sacuy-ap

Eva is one of our Preschool teachers.  She has her Bachelor of Education from the Philippines.  Eva worked for 5 y as an Elementary School teacher in the Philippines.  Before joining our Team in 2010, she worked as an Educational Assistant in an Early Education Program. 

Magnolia Ramirez

Miss Kitty is one of our Preschool teachers.  Kitty is from Peru.  She has a Bachelor of Communications.  Kitty has 8 years experience working with children 2 - 5 years old.  Her goal is to give children a loving supportive environment as well as encourage them to discover, to be inspired, to dream, to learn and to be themselves. Kitty has been with our team since 2008, she was away for 8 months on Maternity leave but has recently returned.

Dehlia Ocampo

Dehlia is our Jr Kinder teacher.  She came from the Philippines to join our team in 2009.  She has her Bachelor of Elementary Education and has 9 years experience teaching Elementary school before joining us.    

 Lauren Lemieux

Lauren joined our team this February.  She is currently working as an Out of School Care teacher as well as casual in our daycare.  She is currently a student at the University of Alberta working towards an Education Degree.

 Alicia McNamara

Alicia joined our team this September.  She is currently working as an Out of School Care teacher as well as helping out in our Daycare.  She is currently a student at the University of Alberta.

Mary Castro

Mary joined our team this September.  She is currently working in our Jr Kinder and Kinder room.   Mary has her Elementary Education from the Philipinnes.

Carolyn Rose

Carolyn joined our team in November.  She is currently working in our Out of School Care room and as a support staff for our daycare.  She has her Elementary Education and many years of experience working with school age children.

All of our staff are required to have a clear Criminal Record Check and have current First Aid and CPR.
