Salary:

 $13.14 - $20.00 hourly,  40 hours per week, Medical, Dental and Life Insurance Benefits

Skill Requirements:

Education:

Completion of High School,  Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree, Early Childhood Orientation Course

Credentials:

Must have Alberta Childcare Certification (Supervisor, Worker or Assistant)

Current First Aid Certificate & CPR

Experience:

1 year to less than 2 years experience in Daycare

Languages:

Speak, Read and Write English

Work Setting:

Child care center, Day Care Center

Children's Ages:

13 months - 6 years

Early Childhood Education Skills:

Plan and develop child care programs, provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, fieldtrips and special activities, provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music, prepare progress reports and discuss with parents and other staff members, knowledge of licensing regulations and Accreditation Standards.  Guide children's behaviour following our policy. Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for your children, prepare craft materials and assist children in using them, Guide children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits, Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children, Observe children and report on observations to supervisor, Discuss progress and problems of children with Supervisor.

Additional Skills:

Assist in maintaining records of children, maintain day care supplies and equipment, Assist in housekeeping duties, light cleaning duties

Skill Requirements:

Education:

Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Some university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):

Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree, Minimum Early Childhood Education Worker or Supervisor Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Experience:

a minimum of 1 year experience in an Out of School Care setting
Languages:

 Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting:

Childcare and Out of School Care Program

Children's Ages:

6 - 12years, relief with for children 13 months - 6 years

Early Childhood Education Skills:
